This School Accountability Report (SARC) is a state-mandated document providing comprehensive information on the condition and performance of the Special Education programs operated by the Stanislaus County Office of Education. It is designed to align with the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) and Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals by detailing key aspects such as learning conditions, student academic outcomes, and the overall school environment, encompassing both parental and student engagement, and fulfilling state and local priorities.

This initiative aims to raise awareness regarding the detrimental effects of excessive screen time and social media use before the age of 16 on children. It seeks to provide actionable resources for students, parents, and teachers within Stanislaus County to mitigate these risks. Key areas of focus include encouraging 'phone-free schools' and promoting hands-on, physical, social, and experiential activities as alternatives to screen-based engagement.

The Stanislaus County Schools board recognized Deborah Clipper upon her retirement. She began her career as a head start teacher and served in various capacities, making significant leadership and educational contributions within Stanislaus County and beyond. Clipper served on several committees and received recognition for her contributions, including the county superintendents cabinet program for infants and toddlers.

The Stanislas County Board of Education recognized Sue Hamblin for her retirement. Sue Hamblin was commended for her exemplary record of personal and professional achievement. She worked in many capacities including clerk typist, medical ma technician, medical ma coordinator, and currently director of Northern California medical jpa. The board members discussed Sue's contributions to the district and her work in saving the mock program from elimination.

The meeting centered on the recognition and renaming of the Livingston Child Development Center in honor of Deborah Clipper, a respected educator and leader in Stanislaus County Schools. The resolution highlighted Deborah Clipper's exemplary record of personal and professional achievement and her contributions to early childhood programs. The Livingston Child Development Center was officially renamed the Debora Clipper Livingstone Child Development Center.
