The commission reviewed and approved a certificate of appropriateness for Phillips Sign to install new internally illuminated channel letters reading "SC4 Cinema" at 301 Huron Avenue, replacing the existing non-illuminated signage. The discussion included an evaluation of the proposal against city ordinances regarding sign illumination, colors, attachment methods, and the footprint within the historic district.
