The council meeting included a review of the city's economic development grants process. The council acknowledged Kirk Sipes for his 15 years of service in the Public Works Maintenance Division. Public comments were made regarding homelessness. The council authorized the purchase of a Ford F250 service truck for the Water Division. A positive recommendation was made for a liquor license application for WinCo Foods. The council authorized a geothermal utility rate increase and construction services contracts for the S. 6th Street Booster Pump Station and Water Line Project with Bob's Excavating, Inc. A resolution was approved in support of modifying the Klamath County Enterprise Zone Agreements. The work done with the train whistle was acknowledged.

The City Council meeting included a proclamation for Suicide Prevention Month. Public comments addressed the need for a noise ordinance and concerns about broken windows and drug houses. The council authorized an agreement with the City School District for a School Resource Officer for Fiscal Years 2026-2028 and a consultant services contract for an update to the American Water Infrastructure Act, Risk and Resiliency and Emergency Response Plan. There were discussions regarding support for those affected by difficult situations and bringing economic drivers to the community.

The council meeting included presentations such as the U.S. Marine Corps 250th Birthday Proclamation. Public comments addressed the need for an additional Code Enforcement Officer downtown. The council authorized an intergovernmental agreement with Klamath County for chip sealing services, the purchase of a Ford F550 for the Streets Division, and a vehicle for the Wastewater Division. A public hearing was held for a licensed area extension recommendation for Garage Tap House. Contract Amendment #2 to Hen-Ris Roofing & Supply for the Airport FBO Hangar Roof Project and a construction services contract with Outlier Construction, LLC for the Oregon Air National Guard Repair Aircraft Maintenance Unit B216 Project were authorized. Additionally, the purchase of a 500X Sweeper from Tymco, Inc. was authorized.

The council meeting included a public hearing for a liquor license recommendation for Motown's Pizza. The council also discussed and authorized agreements with Sky Lakes Medical Center for a Hospital Resource Officer, the State of Oregon for utilization of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Unified Certification Program, and the National Guard Bureau for the Repair Aircraft Maintenance Unit B216 and the F35 Operations and Maintenance Facility. Additionally, there were discussions regarding blighted properties and upcoming events.

The council meeting included discussions on safety downtown during the public comment session. The council authorized additional consultant services for the Arthur and Alva Water Main Replacement Project, the purchase of a John Deere compact excavator, and the purchase of Ford Interceptor and Explorer vehicles. A goods and services contract with Day Wireless was authorized to upfit the Ford vehicles. Additionally, a special ordinance vacating a portion of Almond Street right-of-way was adopted. The Mayor and Councilors also shared information regarding the League of Oregon Cities Conference.
