A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to a presentation by school counselors and public health specialists on the 'Sources of Strength' program, detailing its upstream, intervention, and postvention prevention components, and the role of peer leaders, adult advisors, and community volunteers in promoting hope and help-seeking behaviors among students. The presentation covered components of the Sources of Strength wheel, including family support, positive friends, mentors, healthy activities, generosity, and other sources of strength.

This plan outlines the approach for JCSD#1 to safely reopen schools in August 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It details three instructional delivery models: Open, Hybrid, and Closed/Full Virtual.
