The long-term educational vision for the Barrington School District sets a 20+ year goal aligned with educational opportunities, grade configurations, and facility size and locations. The plan addresses facility condition improvements, increased student engagement, improved athletic spaces, equity across schools, eliminating overcrowding, improved arts opportunities, maximizing RIDE financial support, planning for potential universal pre-kindergarten, aligning grade configurations with RIDE certifications and RICAS testing, and organizing schools to build stronger teacher-student relationships. The plan is a living document to be revisited every 5 years or as circumstances change. The Stage 2 submission, covering the next 5 years, will align with this master plan and will be presented to RIDE for approval.

The strategic plan focuses on addressing inequities and fostering inclusivity within Barrington Public Schools (BPS) over the next 3-5 years. It prioritizes creating a safe and inclusive culture by integrating diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) values into district documents and amplifying DEIB efforts.
