The board adopted memorial resolutions honoring Harold Tanner and Peter G. Ten Eyck II. Appointments were finalized for the Committee for Campus-Constituency-Elected Trustees for the upcoming academic year, including the selection of a committee chair. The board approved the schedule for future meeting dates covering the 2029-2030 academic year and authorized the joint meeting with the Cornell University Council scheduled for 2030.

The board meeting included the approval of the Master of Professional Studies in Agrifood Systems and Climate Resilience degree program. Additionally, reports were presented by the chairperson of the Employee Assembly and the Dean of the Faculty regarding their respective activities for the academic year. A resolution was also approved to honor the Dean of Faculty for her service.

The Board of Trustees approved the establishment of a research-based Master of Science in Fundamental and Translational Reproductive Medicine degree program within the College of Veterinary Medicine. Additionally, the Board received reports regarding internal matters and activities from the Student Assembly, the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly, and the University Assembly.

The program operates via three signature components: Innovation Acceleration, Fellow for New Ventures, and Startup Projects. Its strategic direction is focused on de-risking early-stage technologies, fostering startup creation, attracting follow-on investment, enhancing career pathways, and enriching the overall Cornell innovation ecosystem to amplify its impact across various disciplines and markets.
