The school board meeting included administrative reports and discussions on various topics. A resolution was adopted regarding a vacancy in the office of school board member. The board approved payment of bills, received the Student Activity report, and authorized wire transfer depositories. Decisions were made on lunch prices, substitute pay, bus driver physical reimbursement, and transportation rates for the upcoming school year. Membership dues for the Minnesota School Board Association and the Minnesota Rural Education Association were approved. The board also approved contracts for the Business Manager, Administrative Assistant/Payroll Clerk, and transportation director, as well as the hiring of a part-time Transportation Coordinator. Several personnel actions were taken, including accepting retirements and resignations, and approving volunteer coaches. Additionally, the hiring of a bus driver was approved.

The meeting included discussion of declining enrollment and measures to improve the budget, including human resources changes, reduction in supply resources, and new sources of revenue. The board approved the retirement of the Activities Administrative Assistant and a 5th grade teacher, as well as the termination and non-renewal of two probationary teachers.

Discussions covered projected numbers for the fall, staffing updates, extended school year services, and upcoming staff trainings. The board set dates for fuel and bakery quotations, reviewed and approved bill payments, received the Student Activity Report, approved the 2025-2026 School Board Meeting schedule, and authorized a representative for the school year. Additionally, they approved an auditor for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, authorized final transfers and adjustments, approved free activity passes for students, and approved both the 2024-2025 final budget and the preliminary budget for 2025-2026. A resolution was passed to terminate a Transportation Supervisor.

The school board meeting included administrative reports from the High School Principal and Middle School Principal, covering topics such as prom, MCA testing, senior class activities, class trips, and student council events. The Superintendent reported on student achievements in choir and an increase in health insurance rates. The board discussed and approved payment of bills, received the Student Activity Report, accepted a school calendar adjustment, approved the AIPAC non-concurrence response, accepted the retirement of a paraprofessional, and approved a volunteer tennis coach. A report from the Community Education Committee meeting was also given.

Several resignations were accepted, and new hires and maternity leaves were approved. Committee Reports were given, and upcoming meeting dates were reviewed.
