The board meeting included discussions and actions on various topics such as a presentation on Paulding County Economic Development efforts, financial reports, budget amendments, and insurance coverage. The board also approved the establishment of a Termination/Severance Benefits Fund and transfers to the Permanent Improvement Fund. Additionally, student fees, an agreement for an LED Lighting and Chiller Replacement Project, the District Wellness Policy, and cafeteria meal prices for the 2025-2026 school year were approved. Personnel recommendations were made, including contracts for various coaching positions, resignations, and new contracts for intervention specialists and teachers. An executive session was held to discuss employment and compensation of public employees.

The Paulding Exempted Village Schools Remediation Plan addresses learning loss in students through a multi-faceted approach. This includes summer programs with tutoring in reading and math, enrichment activities, and social-emotional learning components. Additional support is provided through one-on-one tutoring, an after-school program, and partnerships with community organizations. The plan aims to support students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs, ultimately fostering their development into responsible and contributing members of society.
