The meeting included recognition of Wilson High School's Marching Tiger Pride High School Band for winning the 2025 South Carolina Band Directors Association's Traditional High-Step State Championship, and the Florence One Adult Education Program for receiving awards for the highest number of high school diploma completers and facility enhancement through virtual reality technology. Additionally, Florence One Schools was recognized with the Ray Dowy Arts Integration Award. South Florence principal, Miss Shan Josie, was named the 2025 administrator of the year and Dr. Eric Faggeras received and was named the arts administrator of the year. Compass Academy was named one of America's healthiest schools for 2025 by the Alliance of Healthier Generations. The 2024-25 annual audit report was presented, highlighting financial results and compliance policies, including fund balance and bond rating maintenance.

The meeting included recognition of 53 students who earned perfect scores on standardized tests during the 2024-2025 school year. Awards and recognitions were given to Principal Wendy Frasier as Principal of the Year, Matthew Cotay as Assistant Principal of the Year, Jennifer Megan Johnson as Teacher of the Year, and Maro Diaz as Support Employee of the Year.
