The meeting included special presentations honoring students for state qualifiers in band, UIL competitions, powerlifting, and Beta club accomplishments, as well as the recognition of the district's Teacher and Support Employee of the Year. The Board approved overnight out-of-state trips for the National Beta Convention and the Vex Robotics World Championship. Additionally, the Board conducted a swearing-in ceremony for the new Police Chief, received reports regarding school bus seat belt requirements and the Teacher Incentive Allotment, and heard a public participation request regarding student testing materials. Action items resulted in the approval of teacher contracts, as well as several gym facility improvements including scoreboard installation, padding replacement, and remodeling; however, proposals for gym floor covering and graphics were tabled.

The board convened to conduct a closed session in accordance with the Open Meetings Act. The primary focus of the meeting was to address personnel matters, which included reviewing candidates and associated videos to determine the list of individuals for interviews.

The board convened for a special meeting to conduct a closed session for the purpose of interviewing superintendent candidates in accordance with the Texas Government Code. Following the closed session, the board reconvened to take potential action on the items discussed and subsequently adjourned the meeting.

The board meeting included a closed session to deliberate on personnel matters, student disciplinary issues, and safety and security protocols. The special presentation segment recognized the Peter Marsh Silent Servant Scholarship recipient, tennis and track regional qualifiers, and the Blue Ridge Elementary School's receipt of the Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase School Award. Additionally, assistant principals were recognized, and achievements in UIL and CX debate were highlighted. The meeting concluded with reports from campus principals regarding summer school plans.
