The Committee reviewed several Board Policies including BP 3600 (Auxiliary Organizations), BP 3810 (Claims Against the District), BP 3820 (Gifts and Donations), BP 2365 (Recording), BP 2710 (Conflict of Interest), BP 3250 (Institutional Planning), and BP 5400 (Associated Students Organization). Discussions involved proposed edits, review of legal references, and decisions to either move policies to the full Board, bring them back to the committee for further review, or continue researching relevant state laws and codes.

The board meeting included a Chancellor's report highlighting recent community events and honoring a former student trustee. The primary agenda item was the presentation and review of the district's tentative budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Key financial topics covered included statewide budget projections, statutory and discretionary cost-of-living adjustments, Full-Time Equivalent Student (FTES) growth trends across district campuses, and personnel expense assumptions. The budget is balanced using temporary transfers, and the district emphasized the need for continued fiscal discipline and long-term structural adjustments.

The committee directed staff on necessary revisions and determined which items required further review or second readings at upcoming sessions.
