The council discussed and passed a resolution attesting that all newly elected municipal officials completed the mandatory training regarding their roles, responsibilities, ethics, and professional conduct as required by the municipal ethics legislation.

The Council discussed and approved several municipal regulations, including provisions for working conditions, expense reimbursement for elected officials, and financial reserves for water and sewer services. Key administrative actions included the appointment of members to the civil security committee and the hiring of an administrative assistant. Infrastructure projects were addressed, specifically mechanical sweeping and ditch clearing contracts, a meter replacement at the filtration plant, and a request to the provincial government regarding road gravelling requirements. Additionally, the Council authorized a financial contribution to a local music event, approved the installation of security cameras at Parc des Chutes, and established a committee to update the municipality's family and seniors policy.

The council meeting addressed the development of wind energy in Quebec. The municipality decided to join a coalition advocating for a moratorium on wind energy development and a suspension of project calls for tenders. Additionally, the council resolved to formally request that the provincial Minister of Environment mandate a generic environmental assessment (BAPE) for the wind energy sector to address concerns regarding the protection of agricultural land, environmental impacts, and economic equity for municipalities.

The council authorized the participation of a member in a fundraising benefit dinner. A mandate was awarded to the firm Maxxum Gestion d'Actifs for the update of an infrastructure intervention plan to facilitate access to provincial grant programs. The council also modified a previous resolution to include additional road sections for planned engineering works and authorized the participation of interested elected officials in a regional housing forum.
