The City of Sunnyvale seeks licensed engineering, landscape architecture, or urban planning teams (with a licensed engineer) to provide professional services for the Downtown Wayfinding and Gateways project. Work includes preliminary design, design development, bid documents, and bidding/construction support, along with environmental documentation, cost estimating, schedule monitoring, reporting, and project management. The project will deliver a unified wayfinding system and gateway features, including directional signage to and within downtown and prominent gateway markers at key entry points.

Work consisting of removing, salvaging, and discarding of existing traffic signal and electrical equipment, installing new traffic signal poles and foundation, traffic signal cabinets and foundation, service cabinets and foundation, traffic signal equip- ment, pull boxes, traffic signal conduit, conductors and cables, street lighting, hardwired and wireless communication; removing and discarding of existing curb, gutter, sidewalk, concrete, asphalt, excavated soil, and vegetation and installing new sidewalk, curb and gut ter, ADA curb ramps, quick build curb extensions, reconstructing drain age inlet, installing slurry seal, and installing new signing and striping, according to plans and specifications prepared by the City and according to the contract documents.
