The City of Ridgefield (WA) is soliciting qualifications for on-call utilities engineering services to provide embedded engineering reviews, coordinate land use and site plan reviews, review bonds, and provide technical assistance. The contract term is two years with options to renew for up to three additional one-year terms, and the City may onboard up to two consultants. The solicitation encourages participation from Washington-certified Minority, Disadvantaged, and Women's Business Enterprises.

Construction of a 2. 5-million-gallon composite elevated water reservoir, foundation and soil improvements; site grading and surfacing; installation of water, electrical power, telecommunications, irrigation, and stormwater utilities; landscaping and installation of security fencing, gates and surveillance equipment, site improvements and other work. Work consists of a new two-story building of approx. 43,000 square feet plus sitework and landscaping. Demolition of existing site work including existing access road, sediment fencing, landscaping, and existing above and below grade utilities, sitework includes storm detention facilities, utilities, concrete and asphalt paving, curbs, wheel stops, landscaping, and site signage, the new building is type ii-b construction and is fully sprinkled. Construction is a mix of concrete, steel, and cross laminate timber construction. Floors are concrete slab on grade for the ground levels and concrete slab on metal deck for elevated levels. Exterior cladding consists of metal panel, brick, wood siding, aluminum storefront, and curtainwall. Roofing consists of single ply membrane over rigid insulation. See attached file.
