AvailableCity of Port Arthur requests bids to supply sodium chlorite (25% +/-1% solution) and to supply/install/maintain onsite chlorine dioxide generators (sodium chlorite + chlorine gas) for its 16–40 MGD water treatment plant. Estimated annual quantity ~500,000–600,000 lbs. Requirements include: dosing range ~0.25–3.0 mg/L, deliver to four injection points with properly sized generators and standby unit, ClO2 product ≥95% purity and chlorite by‑products <1.0 mg/L, EPA/NSF registration and EPA registration number required, provide two ≥6,200‑gallon storage tanks, transfer pumps, bulk truck deliveries (supervised), MSDS/product bulletins, amperometric titrator, monthly ion‑chromatograph testing, operator training, 24/7 maintenance with 2‑hour emergency onsite response, and FOB Port Arthur pricing. Proof of references, lab qualifications, and regulatory acceptance required.
