Work includes construction of approximately 13,600 linear feet of 12" pvc (dr-18) water main by open cut, 400 linear feet of 12" pvc (dr-14) water main by open cut, and two (2) linear feet of 10" pvc (dr-18) water main by open cut with associated fittings, twenty-eight (28) fire hydrants, twenty-eight (28) 12" vertical gate valves, and two (2) 10" vertical gate valves. Connections to the existing water main will be made at two (2) points by using fittings such as tapping sleeve and valve. Eight (8) connections for future development are proposed to be included.
