The City of La Cañada Flintridge seeks qualified contractors to provide targeted goat and/or sheep grazing across approximately 58.7 acres of City-owned land within the Wildland-Urban Interface to reduce hazardous vegetation and fuel loads. This is a one-time treatment project (removing invasive annual grasses and reducing live woody fuels) funded by CAL FIRE’s Wildfire Prevention Grants Program and subject to grant compliance and reporting requirements.

The general items of work include saw-cutting the pavement, remove asphalt, base, dirt and cold plane, compact the native soil, place steel plates as needed, construct a 3-6" asphalt concrete, restore striping with thermoplastic and red curb, clean up, and leave in an operable and acceptable condition all the work and other items not mentioned that are required by the specifications.
