The City of Chico is soliciting qualifications for on-call professional landscape design and inspection services to support various capital improvement projects including streetscapes, roundabouts, parks, and public facility plantings. The contract is for three years with two optional one-year extensions and will not exceed $250,000. The consultant must have at least five years’ relevant experience and employ a California-licensed Landscape Architect in responsible charge.

The City of Chico is soliciting bids to remove and replace the Pomona Avenue Bridge over Little Chico Creek, including construction of a new cast-in-place concrete bridge, replacement of an existing sewer siphon, drainage improvements, pavement, curb/gutter/sidewalk, retaining walls, and signing/striping. The Engineer's Estimate is approximately $4.8 million and the project is funded with Federal Highway Bridge Program funds. A virtual non-mandatory pre-bid outreach meeting is scheduled for 2025-12-17; bids are required to include a bid security equal to at least 10% of the total bid.
