The California Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division (FMD) issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to upgrade/retrofit the auditorium theatrical lighting system at the March Fong Eu Secretary of State Building in Sacramento. The work includes removing existing fixtures, installing 17 new LED theatrical lights, replacing conduit and cabling, terminating low-voltage cables, programming and configuration, producing drawings/schematics, and providing on-site training for staff. Bidders must have a Class C-10 or C-7 license, appropriate insurance, DIR registration, and meet a 3% Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise participation goal.

The California Department of General Services (DGS) — Real Estate Services Division — is soliciting sealed bids for the Modular Classroom Replacement and Utility Upgrades at the CalFire Ione Training Center in Ione, Amador County. Work includes demolition of the existing septic tank and reconnection to municipal sewer, excavation for new utility connections, electrical raceway installation, water connections, and related site work; bidders must hold a California A or B contractor license and comply with CRC fleet reporting and health and safety mandates. Sealed bids are due January 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM (local time) and a mandatory pre-bid site inspection is scheduled for January 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
