The State of Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is soliciting quotes for as-needed winter maintenance (pathways and sidewalk clearing) in Juneau, requiring specified equipment and 7-day-per-week on-call availability with 1-hour mobilization and call-out at 6:00 a.m. when more than 2 inches of snow falls. Quotes must be submitted to the Contracts Officer at 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska or via email to srdotpfcontracts@alaska.gov by 2:00 p.m. on December 19, 2025; a 5% Alaska Offeror preference may apply. The contract term runs through April 15, 2026 (no renewals), estimated cost $100,001–$200,000, award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; required Alaska business license and insurance limits are specified.

The Contractor shall provide professional services for the development of a plan which explores management approaches and strategies to ensure the project corridor performs at an optimal level for all users and improves the functionality of the entire arterial transportation network. The corridor plan shall describe the corridor’s characteristics, foreseeable development and impacts, and opportunities for mitigation of adverse conditions. The plan shall utilize data to identify corridor projects and strategies that will support the goals and objectives of the area. The plan shall include progress monitoring and assessment criteria to evaluate the effectiveness of the plan’s implementation.

The project will improve both the asphalt and gravel sections of victory road, including drainage improvements, culvert replacement, signage and striping.
