This project is to rehabilitate and repair auto tour route. Drainage improvements from 15+75 to 89+50 including spot culvert and/or end section replacement, culvert cleaning, ditch excavation, ditch reconditioning, spot sub excavation, and roadway excavation. Decades of grading the gravel surface has created a berm along the roadway cutting off surface drainage to most of the existing ditches. Aggregate surfacing from 15+75 to 60+00. Aggregate surfacing from 60+00 to 89+50. Drainage improvements and Aggregate Surfacing from 89+50.

Red grade road, phase 1. The proposed roadway will vary from 22-foot wide to 18-foot total. The existing roadway width is 18 feet wide. The project will include minor horizontal and vertical realignments to improve sight distance and roadway geometry, as well as drainage improvements to obtain a design standard for the proposed roadway. The project is considered 3R+ and located in mountainous terrain.
