System KPPs: KPP: The sUAS shall be capable of autonomous navigation (flying pre-planned routes) and the user shall have the ability to override and take control manually (T=O). The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/WISS) issued an Amended RFI/Sources Sought for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) to provide organic ISR and extend communications for ground/maritime search and rescue. Systems must meet key performance parameters including autonomous navigation, open architecture, AES-256 FIPS, flight time ≥40 minutes, weight ≤55 lbs, and operation in GPS-denied conditions. The work is for Air Force Rescue Forces at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, with a response deadline of Jan 8, 2026.
