Sewer System Improvements

The project includes Phase 1 - Lift Station work, and the first 10 LF of the force main: Rehabilitate existing lift station wet well and Appurtenances. See sheet C-106, Rehabilitate existing lift station building wall paneling, weather stripping, and electrical. See architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical sheets, Construct addition to lift station for new valve vault. See structural & architectural sheets, Install new wet well pumps, monitoring system, electrical instrumentation, and appurtenances, Construct new arctic pipe force main with force main cleanouts, abandon existing force main in place. Phase 2 - Construction of the septic system, force main, and abandoning of the existing septic system and force main: Construct new community septic tanks and mounded drainage fields, Replace existing sewer collection system components including manholes, main, service connections, Abandon existing community septic tanks and drainfield. Phase 3 - Additive Alternate: Sewer Main and Manhole Repairs: Flush gravity mains to remove all debris. Inspect gravity sewer mains and manholes specified herein, Install new manhole liners, dust pans, and repair cracking and spalling.
