Refurbishment should include High Jump, Discus, Shot Put Course, Long Jump Runway, Triple Jump Runway, Javelin Runway, and potential excavation. Install Soil Erosion Measures, as required by the local Governing Soil Conservation District. Remove and dispose of approximately 1 ½“ thick asphalt. Enlarge the existing High Jump Footprint to 50’ x 100’. Excavating around old footprint and install 6” thick fine dense graded aggregate (DGA). Installation of long jump runway, 160 foot long, 5 foot wide with jump pit for rubber surface and install concrete ribbon curb edge with NEW 6”x12” on Long Jump footprint. Provide sand for landing pits and install concrete ribbon curb edge with NEW 6”x12” on Sand Pit footprint. Construct 2” hot mix asphalt (HMA) 19 mm slab base course for high and long jump. Install 2” thick hot mix asphalt (HMA) SP 9.5 mm for asphalt course javelin runway.
