Provide professional engineering, surveying and subsurface utility engineering (sue) services to improve pedestrian safety in the area especially for pedestrians to and from the train station. Design a new traffic signal. Evaluate installation of signal head for southbound traffic. Evaluate the installation of an additional crosswalk to the north of the tracks with ada ramps. Evaluate southside of the track relocate existing crosswalk with ada ramps on both ends and associated curb extension. Evaluate removal of the existing rectangular rapid flashing beacon (rrfb). Evaluate and design installation of pedestrian pushbuttons at the crosswalks north and south of the railroad tracks. See outside link.
Town of Severance
Project includes the following work: new sidewalk construction and signal installation including removals, earthwork, grading, concrete sidewalk, pedestrian curb ramps, asphalt patching, signing, pavement markings, and drainage improvements within town of severance right of way.
City of Mobile
Work includes construction of curb ramps and sidewalk improvements.
