Provide professional engineering, surveying and subsurface utility engineering (sue) services to improve pedestrian safety in the area especially for pedestrians to and from the train station. Design a new traffic signal. Evaluate installation of signal head for southbound traffic. Evaluate the installation of an additional crosswalk to the north of the tracks with ada ramps. Evaluate southside of the track relocate existing crosswalk with ada ramps on both ends and associated curb extension. Evaluate removal of the existing rectangular rapid flashing beacon (rrfb). Evaluate and design installation of pedestrian pushbuttons at the crosswalks north and south of the railroad tracks. See outside link.

Work includes construction of pedestrian facilities. Improvements include ada compliant curb ramps, extension of sidewalk, pedestrian crosswalks, led pedestrian warning signs, and rapid rectangular flashing beacon (rrfb). 233 SY demolition of pavement flexible; 496 SY remove sidewalk and entrance; 706 LF remove comb curb and gutter; 8 CY regular excavation; 370 SY curb ramp with detectable warning surface, cast-in-place; 3 CY retaining wall rw-3; 3 EA breakaway wood bollard.
