North Avenue Waterline Replacement Project

Contract a consists of the installation of approx., 2,030 LF of 6" C900 PVC DR14 waterline and appurtenances including valves, fire hydrant installation, water service line re-connections, and all temporary and permanent surface restoration including lawn, concrete sidewalk, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Contract b consists of roadway surface restoration and paving. The work includes milling of 3,411 SY of existing pavement, placement of 140 tons of 3/4" scratch, paving of 3,411 SY of 9.5mm wearing course (1. 5" depth), 525 SY of base repair, and all necessary traffic control and driveway access, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction.

Waterline replacement: work for replacement of various fire hydrants, water meters, and waterlines throughout the water distribution system. Major items include fire hydrant replacement, service line from main to meter, waterline replacement and meter replacement including replacement of setter, meter, frame and cover, transmitter, and pit and all other appurtenances and incidentals to complete the project, incidental to replacement.
