1. Remove the quartz and brick paver system (made of loose laid 4” x 8” bricks 2” thick, with infill of pea stone on rubber spacers), completely, in the work area. 2. Dispose of all materials appropriately. 3. Fine grade and mechanically compact the soil underneath the existing plaza to restore original design grades (grades should be so that water drains to the northwest). 4. Provide an adequate LID system, including drainage, filtration and a retention basin. The location of the LID system is to be determined. 5. Install a 6-inch lift of crushed stone as a bedding layer for the plaza. Slope stone to match underlying soil. 6. Install galvanized welded-wire fabric, 6x6, 8-guage, and secured to galvanized metal chairs so that the mesh will fall within the middle third of the 6-inch final layer. 7. Install 6-inch thick concrete, fiber reinforced, 5000 psi. Agitate and level throughout, sloping to drain to match existing. Finish shall have slight non-slip surface. See attached file.
