AvailableDemo/Removal: a. Contractor shall perform Lock Out/Tag Out (LO/TO) procedures prior to starting any HVAC repair work that involves electrical circuits. Coordinate any required outages with Navy Lodge On-Site POC, Connie Butler, and keep the NEXCOM Project Manager (PM), Christopher Wahl, informed of the outage schedule(s) as applicable. b. Contractor shall disconnect power and any necessary refrigerant lines, electrical components, or ducting required to access and replace the failed parts within the HVAC unit. c. Contractor shall remove and properly dispose of any failed HVAC components. All disposals shall adhere to Section C, Codes and Regulations. d. Contractor shall be responsible for any repairs to wall finishes, flooring, ceilings, and entrances damaged as a result of the component removal and replacement. See attached file.
