Masonry restoration including rebuilding two chimneys, repointing stone mortar joints, removing mortar haze, resetting limestone front stairs, and repairing portico ceiling. Repointing must follow the National Park Service Preservation Brief 2 per SHPO. Cornice Restoration- moving 30 LF of deteriorated cornice and replacing in-kind, wire wheel prime and paint existing metal cornice around perimeter of building, and scraping, priming, and painting all metal soffits. Wood Restoration- sand, prime and paint all existing wood window and door trim, caulk all window and door perimeter joints Other- restore existing door overhang with in-kind materials and recreate missing overhang, replace gutters and downspouts, replace and replicate 16 metal vents.
