The University of Massachusetts Lowell is soliciting qualifications to select up to three Owner's Project Managers (OPMs) to provide project management and oversight services for new construction, repair, and renovation projects across the Commonwealth. Selected OPMs will manage day‑to‑day project activities, including coordination of consultants, design review, value engineering, procurement, and construction, and must attend weekly PM meetings and be on campus at least one day per week. The biology class lab project is a renovation project with the majority of the project scope spanning approx. 1,800 SF of existing instructional space on the 4th floor of hall. The project will renovate this existing area to create a new instructional lab, prep lab, and microscopy space. The renovation will occur within an active science teaching and research building. Trades includes: glass and glazing, resilient flooring, painting, plumbing, heating / ventilating / air-conditioning (HVAC), electrical work.
