Tuscaloosa Housing Authority seeks qualified firms for plumbing repair services on an 'As Needed' basis, including emergency repairs after hours. Services include repairing water lines, heating systems, toilets, sewer lines, and gas leaks. Contractors must provide a central contact for emergencies and ensure repairs do not exceed 24 hours of service interruption. All work must comply with state and local licensing requirements and include a minimum 30-day warranty.

Provide painting and cleaning of vacant units at various tha properties on an as needed basis - a) units will be empty and void of all furniture, trash and/or other debris; b) all repairs (damages to structure, equipment, systems, etc. ) will be made by housing authority personnel prior to contractor notification; c) contractor shall patch all holes in drywall walls & ceilings and wood trim prior to painting. Patched areas shall be sanded smooth to be consistent with existing drywall finishes; d) contractor shall take protective measures to prevent overspray of paint on surfaces including electrical fixtures and devices, door hardware, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets & appliances, windows, floors and all other items not intended for paint application; etc, see attached file.
