The Town of Smithfield is soliciting bids for the construction of a parks maintenance garage and office building at the Joseph W. Luter, Jr. Sports Complex, including site work to extend water and sewer laterals, stormwater conveyance, installation of two dry detention ponds, a fenced maintenance yard, concrete sidewalks, parking, storage containers, and associated landscape and lighting improvements. The building exterior brick and mortar must substantially conform to existing baseball and football concession buildings; material samples must be submitted for review. A mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit is scheduled for December 16, 2025 at 10:00 A.M., and bids are due January 29, 2026.

The exterior brick and mortar must substantially conform to existing concession buildings; material samples must be submitted for review and work must coordinate with the Owner's event schedule. Contract performance is expected within 425 days from Notice to Proceed with substantial completion required by 2026-01-29.
