Town of Matthews solicits bids for fabrication, refurbishment, and installation of municipal wayfinding signage in Matthews, NC. Work includes fabricating new sign structures, refurbishing/repairing and repainting existing structures, panel replacement (50", 42", 24" and smaller), in-field sign panel replacement, footer installation and demolition (including bolt-down footer removal), breakaway bolt systems, restoration, and installation of refurbished/new signs; initial shop refurbish of roughly 8–10 sign structures. Requirements: licensed contractor, performance and payment bonds (125% of contract), specified insurance limits, up to 9-month contract period, and mandatory use of SignAgent for photo submittals.

This includes refurbish sign structure (repair and repaint) & replace panel (50", 42", 24" and smaller), in field sign panel replacement, footer & breakaway bolt system, demolition of abandoned bolt down footer 8" below grade, and other items.

The work consists of, but is not limited to milling, performing 42,200 SY of full depth reclamation, asphalt paving, traffic loop installation, pavement markings, sidewalk replacement, curb and gutter replacement, surveying, and curb ramp installation.
