Tallahatchie County requests sealed bids for a wide range of office, general, and construction supplies and materials, including precast concrete (slabs, caps, wings, rails), culverts (metal, concrete, plastic), bridge lumber and piling, various asphalts and emulsions, crushed stone and limestone (multiple sizes), rip rap, bridge concrete (Class A and B), traffic signs, pea gravel, washed/crushed rock, sand (fill/mortar/concrete), grader blades, reinforcing steel, railroad tank cars for culverts/bridges, and food/prepared meals for county jails and work crews. Deliveries required to Charleston and Sumner; items must meet Section 703 of the Mississippi Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction. Alternate bids accepted and awards may be made item-by-item.
