Lease of crop fields owned by the county. County has land located within two (2) of its regional parks that is appropriate for use for agricultural production. Blakeley Bluffs Park Reserve in Blakeley Township • Package 1A: Eight (8) crop fields that can be treated as one (1) full quotable parcel (See pages 13 – 33 for more detailed information.) • Package 1B: Three (3) crop fields that can be treated as one (1) full quotable parcel (See pages 34 – 46 for more detailed information.) Cedar Lake Farm Regional Park in Helena Township • Package 2A: One (1) specified field. (See pages 47 – 59 for more detailed information.)• Package 2B: Two (2) crop fields that can be treated as one (1) fully quotable parcel. These two (2) crop fields are certified organic fields and must be operated as organic crop fields.(See pages 60 – 74 for more detailed information.) County is seeking bids for the lease of these properties. The lease period shall be from March 1, 2026 through December 31, 2028.
