Demolition will also be required at the basement level for additional structural strengthening to the existing elevator shear wall. The Level 13 renovation consists of converting the existing bar, lounge, kitchen, and conference room to seven new VIP hotel suites, an amenity space, bar with commercial kitchen, and table gaming areas in the amenity space, and housekeeping areas. The suite end units will include private terraces with gas fireplaces, spas, chemical storage, and kitchenettes. Demolition and patch-back like finish-for-like finish of existing ceilings on Level 12 will be required for new reinforcing of existing post-tensioned slabs, installation of new plumbing, electrical, mechanicals, and irrigation connections. The hotel operations will remain in business up through Level 10 during demolition and works at Level 12, and up through Level 11 once Level 12 MEP and structural works are complete.
