The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for a designer to provide design and construction administration for a new ~1,700 SF equipment storage building with five open-air bays and electrical services at Dismal Swamp State Park in Camden County. The project will meet NC Building and ADA codes and has a total budget of $530,000 funded by the Parks And Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF). This is a Request for Qualifications (procurement), not a grant, and the solicitation is currently open with a close date of 2026-01-16.

Project consists of the dredging, repair, and maintenance of wastewater lagoons at three Park Access Areas: Poplar Point, Parkers Creek, and Vista; as well as the replacement of the above ground irrigation system and maintenance thinning and replanting of vegetative field cover.
