NASA Glenn Research Center issued a Second Draft Announcement for Partnership Proposals (AFPP) for the Fission Surface Power (FSP) System to solicit industry feedback on draft requirements and attachments. Comments/responses are due December 12, 2025, and the procurement anticipates awarding one or more Funded Space Act Agreements (FSAAs) to partners. Place of performance is Cleveland, OH, and the final AFPP is anticipated in early 2026.
