The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) is seeking proposals from up to six vendors to support multilingual early childhood educators. Vendors will provide a 16-credit ECE Foundational Certificate in languages other than English, along with English language learning support. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), intends to solicit up to six vendors to provide higher education pathways and supports for multilingual early childhood educators, centered on a 16-credit Early Childhood Education Foundational Certificate offered in languages other than English. The contract will require recruitment-to-retention supports, pathway planning, English language learning assistance, and delivery in partnership with accredited Massachusetts Institutes of Higher Education. The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care would like to arrange onsite CPR/First Aid/AED device training for an estimated one hundred and forty (140) employees at our regional offices in Worcester, Quincy and Boston. The vendor should be able to provide facilitators, all training materials and resources, and take accurate attendance for our reporting purposes.
