The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) is soliciting proposals to install Wurtec Wur-com Plus ADA communication systems in 23 existing elevators on its campus. The contractor must perform installations to comply with the National Elevator Safety Code (ANSI A17.1), the National Electric Code, and the Americans with Disabilities Act as adopted by Florida and demonstrate experience with elevator installation and maintenance; a mandatory pre-bid/site visit is scheduled for 2026-01-13. Proposals are due by January 28, 2026, and the project is expected to be awarded within 60 days after proposal opening.
