This procurement is for two (2) Aerosol Magee Scientific AE36 Aethalometer air toxics black carbon measurement systems for the District’s ambient air monitoring network to ensure the District meets the federal requirements of a minimum 75% data capture per quarter. Annual re-certification of the sampler system is a quality assurance requirement, and the process can take up to a month. DOEE currently operates Aerosol Magee Scientific aethalometers for Air Toxic’s monitoring program. See outside link.
