City of San Mateo seeks sealed bids for citywide tree planting services for two consecutive winters to plant 200–300 trees per year in public rights-of-way and city parks (City will provide trees). Scope includes planting (mix of 15‑gal and 24" box trees, including sites with existing grates), stump-grinding as needed, and compliance with ANSI A300 and ISA BMPs. Contractor must provide all labor, equipment and materials (except trees/signage), hold a California C-27 or C-61/D49 license, be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, pay prevailing wages, and may not use subcontractors.
