Work includes 397 SY remove and replace 6-inch-thick reinforced concrete pavement with 6-inch-thick flexbase subgrade; 54 LF remove and replace mountable concrete curb and gutter; 12 SY remove and replace gravel driveway; 25 SY remove and replace gravel landscaping; 6,398 LF construct eight-inch (8") awwa c900 dr18 pvc water line by open cut (0'-13' depth), including all fittings and thrust restraints; 11 LF onstruct six-inch (6") awwa c900 dr18 pvc water line by open cut (fire hydrant lead). The City of Heath, Texas is soliciting bids for the Candlelite Water Line Improvements to replace approximately 8,850 linear feet of 8-inch water lines and related appurtenances along Terry Lane, Candlelite Trail, Lemley Drive, Gregory Drive, and Darrell Drive. The work includes connections to existing lines, trench safety, abandonment of existing water lines in place, pavement removal and replacement, and SWPPP. Bids are due January 12, 2026 at 2:00 PM CST at Heath City Hall.

Removing and replacing 4,161 LF of full-depth pavement along Hubbard Drive and 350 LF of full-depth pavement along Larry Drive, street and driveway pavement removal and replacement along Hubbard Drive, 4,800 SF of concrete trail removal and replacement on Hubbard Drive, 700 LF of channel excavation, 3,064 LF of storm pipe and 400 LF of concrete box, 17 curb inlets along Hubbard Drive and Larry Drive, 1-6'x3' box culvert, installing an additional 48" concrete pipe culvert crossing at Dunford Drive and associated headwalls, 1-16-inch inserta valve along Hubbard Drive, connections to the city's existing 16" water line and extending 8" water service lines to properties on the North and South sides of Hubbard Drive, lowering 50 LF of 16" water line, raising 350 LF of 16" water line at Dunford Drive, associated traffic control, roadway striping, and erosion control.
