Learn more →Water Main Replacement project generally includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the installation of approx 2,830 LF of new water main infrastructure. The project consists of 430 LF of 16" diameter ductile iron pipe (DIP) with nitrile gaskets, 20 LF of 16" diameter DIP with a 24" diameter casing pipe, 2,300 LF of 16" diameter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe, 60 LF of 8" diameter PVC Pipe, and 20 LF of 12" diameter PVC pipe. Work shall include, but is not limited to, trench excavation and backfill, pipe installation, installation of valves, fittings, hydrants, restrained joints, thrust restraints, air release valves and pits, connections to existing mains, flushing, pressure testing, disinfection, and surface restoration.
