The Central Marin Sanitation Agency (CMSA) is soliciting applications from contractors licensed in California to be included on its 2026 List of Qualified Contractors under the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) for public works projects with estimated values between $75,000 and $220,000. Interested contractors must submit a Contractor's Pre-Qualification Application available from CMSA’s website or by contacting CMSA staff.

Demolish three (3) grit classifiers, install two (2) owner-furnished grit washers and control panels, removing and replacing five (5) owner-furnished grit pumps, installing five (5) owner-furnished VFDs, providing all associated equipment including plug valves, piping, conduits, wires, seal water system, and equipment connection fittings, and providing the mechanical, structural, instrumentation and electrical retrofits necessary to configure the grit washers and grit pumps as shown on the plans and specifications. Two bid alternates are included to replace 45-degree bends in Gallery A and to remove and replace an 8" grit overflow pipe and fittings.

Work consists of remove and replace three (3) owner-furnished dewatering centrifuges, including removal and replacement of the centrifuge control panels, removal and replacement of the dewatering system master plc, salvaging existing equipment, demolition of a monorail crane system, installation of a new owner-furnished bridge crane system, installation of load bearing beams and a raised walkway platform, widening and replacement of a floor hatch, performing piping modifications, constructing all mechanical, structural, electrical, instrumentation and control work, and providing all appurtenances
