The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) National Office issued a sources-sought / Request for Information for an Energy Management Information System (EMIS) to manage utility and energy data across BLM facilities, including processing utility invoices and smart meter interval data and providing online reporting. The RFI seeks capabilities for a comprehensive energy relational database and portal, data extraction for financial reporting, tracking energy/water use at facilities, troubleshooting renewable systems, and compliance with the Energy Act of 2020 for interval data availability. This is an information-gathering notice only (no commitment to procure), with a 12-month base period and two optional one-year extensions (period of performance starting March 31, 2025).

The Department of the Interior (DOI) Acquisition Services Directorate, on behalf of the Bureau of Land Management, issued a Special Notice to conduct market research and hold an Industry Day to gather feedback on draft specifications for Air Tactical Group Supervisor (ATGS) services supporting wildland fire operations.
