The project will be an early release sitework package to enable a future building and finishing construction package for a new Plains Junior High School for the Auburn City Schools system. The project will develop approx 41 acres of land on an existing lot of record located on the east side of Will Buechner Parkway in Auburn, AL. The scope of the project will include site clearing & grubbing, mass grading, asphalt paving, curb & gutter installation, installation of site utility infrastructure, installation of storm drainage infrastructure, and all necessary site erosion control and stabilization.

The project calls for the construction of a new comprehensive high school facility, including related site work and outdoor athletic facilities. The site includes 82 acres of previously undeveloped land. Early site improvements are underway including tree clearing, mass grading, mass rock excavation, and installation of storm drainage, sanitary sewer infrastructure, curb & gutter, and asphalt binder. The building scope includes 3 primary structures: a three-story academic building, a 2-story gymnasium and athletics building, and a single-story performing arts building. Work includes multiple field buildings serving athletics, parking, signage, fencing, lighting and various plantings and landscaping.

The project will further develop approx. 82 acres of land. The package will include asphalt paving to the binder layer and all associated subgrade improvements, installation of curb and gutter, storm drainage installation, and sleeving for future utility infrastructure to prepare the site for development.
