The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Armament Directorate (EBD), issued an RFI to conduct market research and identify vendors capable of developing and demonstrating a Large Caliber Penetrator tailkit (TK) system, with emphasis on Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) that can operate in GPS-denied environments against hard and deeply buried targets. The government requests development of a tailkit technical data package, production of 3–5 full-scale prototypes, software deliverables, integration onto a government-supplied warhead, and independent flight testing; responses must be unclassified white papers (10 pages per section) addressing GNC/test capabilities or an all-inclusive approach. Submissions are due December 12, 2025 by 2:00 PM CST (2025-12-12T20:00:00Z); the RFI is pre-solicitation (no award date) and is being used to inform future acquisition planning (possible FY2027 Q1 award).

The Department of the Air Force (Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, AFLCMC/EB) posted a presolicitation requesting white papers for the Counter-Air Missile Program (CAMP) to gather industry approaches for an affordable, modular missile system and rapid prototyping. Responses are voluntary and for planning purposes only; white papers must follow submission instructions (max 15 pages) and CUI appendices are available upon request to the listed government contacts. Submissions are due by 2025-12-16 17:00 CST (2025-12-16T23:00:00Z), and the government may request follow-up information or calls but makes no commitment for future awards or payment of respondent costs.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Armament Directorate at Eglin AFB is soliciting commercial solutions under an umbrella Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to rapidly develop technologies for novel weapons capabilities. The CSO will be used to solicit solution briefs via specific ‘spirals’ (amendments) that announce calls to action; some spirals are RFPs, RFIs, or requests for white papers. The CSO is open to all businesses and may lead to awards under FAR Part 12 or Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs); documentation and attachments are available on the official SAM.gov workspace page.
