The Government is conducting market research (Sources Sought) to identify small business contractors capable of performing hazardous materials collection and laboratory testing and surveys (destructive and non-destructive) at eleven geographically separated units within Joint Base San Antonio. Required services include lead-based paint inspections (XRF and paint chip analysis), asbestos inspections per AHERA, identification of PCB and mercury-contaminated equipment (non-sampling), and delivery of detailed reports with sampling locations, photographs, and remediation recommendations.
